Today’s winners include a poodle rescued from a breeder, a cat rescued from the mouth of a large dog and a couple of protective squawking birds.

Dog

Maxie“We rescued Maxie from a breeder. She had had three litters of pups before she was 2 years old. You couldn’t even tell what kind of dog she was. She had not had a haircut at all. She was so skittish with people. We had a hard time getting her to come out from under the house. We have had her since March 2013 and she loves to go in the truck with us. She lays on the dash and thinks that she is so important now.”

Cat

Sammy AdamsSammy should be Overdrive’s Most Loved Pet because he is so special. He was rescued out of the mouth of a large dog at just 3 weeks old, he was scared and detached when we got him, it took a while but with lots of love and good care he has become the house mascot! He runs to see us when we come home, he loves attention, and he would love to be Overdrive’s Most Loved Pet as he is most loved at the Adams house.”

Other

Callie and Perly“[Callie and Perly] hold conversation with you. They love hanging around and stealing Mom’s food when I’m not looking. They protect the truck and squawk when someone comes near. They even know how to use the mirrors when someone was near the trailer and not supposed to be.”
