So it *IS* Christmas already

| November 24, 2012

In answer to my somewhat facetious question in last Saturday’s post came news of a Christmas-themed truck parade — no doubt one among many — getting under way down South a week from now. Overdrive reader Sam Juarez shared on our Facebook page the Georgia Tow Trucks and Big Rigs for Tots parade, staging at Atlanta’s Turner Field in the Gold Lot at noon on Saturday, Dec. 1 (see map image below), in terms of staging.

The event welcomes all interested drivers, says Juarez. Find more info about it via the Facebook page. Further info can be found by phone via Tammy at 404-272-9348 or Tom at 404-488-2892.

And if you’ve got news of a local parade you’d like to open up to the audience, too, by all means, let me know here in the comments. And yes, welcome to the Christmas season, drivers, now officially under way.
