TA-Petro mobile app adds parking reservation system

Truck drivers looking to reserve parking at truck stops ahead their arrival can now do so at TA-Petro locations through the company’s free TruckSmart mobile app.

TravelCenters of America added its “Reserve-It!” parking program to the app in a recent update, which allows drivers to reserve parking up to 30 days in advance at participating TA or Petro locations and pay for the spot with a credit card in the app.

The app shows how many Reserve-It! parking sports are available at a selected location. Truck stop locations can be filtered by distance from current location, by highway or by state.

The TruckSmart app is available on the Google Play store and Apple App Store.
