ACT reported 13,231 net orders of Class 8 vehicles. Over half of the orders are scheduled for delivery in the third quarter.
April net orders were 3 percent above the prior year level and year-to-date growth in net orders through April is 72 percent.
Net orders increased 91 percent in April compared with the same month last year, firm said.
Commercial trailer net orders have posted year-over year growth for six consecutive months.
