Following a half-cent drop during the week ended Dec. 31, the national average diesel price for the week ended Monday, Jan. 7, fell another 0.7 cents.
The national average diesel price has nearly stagnated, dropping just seven-tenths of a cent to $4.027 a gallon during the week ended Dec. 3, says the Department of Energy.
The U.S. average diesel price declined for the second consecutive week, dropping 0.7 cent to $4.079 a gallon.
The national average retail diesel price fell 4.8 cents to $3.956 a gallon.
The national average retail diesel price dipped one-half cent to $4.142 per gallon.
