Compliance rates high in CVSA 2010 Roadcheck

More than 95 percent of drivers and 80 percent of the vehicles inspected passed compliance tests in the 2010 Roadcheck, the Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance said of its June 8-10 roadside inspections. Brake-related defects accounted for half of the out-of-service violations recorded in the compliance tests. Lights violations and tires and wheels violations each comprised roughly one-tenth.
