New health-insurance offering for Con-way Truckload operators

Owner-operators leased to Joplin, Mo.-based Con-way Truckload began receiving information over their Qualcomm units and in packets in the mail last week about a first-time offering from the company, the TrueChoices program. Con-way re-opens Phoenix orientation site

Con-way Truckload has re-opened its sixth driver orientation site in Phoenix at the Premier Inns, the Joplin, Mo.-based carrier announced. Plans include hiring 30 to 50 experienced professional truck drivers from several Western states, including Arizona, Nevada, California, New Mexico and Colorado per month.
