Diesel prices hit 10-month low, fall for 12th straight week

A 3.5-cent decrease in the country’s national average diesel fuel price during the first week of 2019 has prices at their lowest point since the end of March. Fuel prices have fallen for 12 consecutive weeks for a total decrease of 38.1 cents so far.

The DOE says SuperTruck II will utilize a variety of truck and trailer technology approaches to achieve performance targets, such as improvements in engine efficiency, drivetrain efficiency, aerodynamic drag, tire rolling resistance and vehicle weight.
