Epes ups driver pay 7 cents for Northeast deliveries

Drivers for Epes Transport System are eligible to earn a 7-cent pay increase per loaded mile for loads delivered to the Northeast, the Greensboro, N.C.-based carrier announced. States to which the increase applies are Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island and Vermont. Transport Corp. raises pay

Transport Corp. of America has raised owner-operator pay 2 cents per mile, bringing the pay to 93 cents per mile, the Eagan, Minn.-based carrier announced. Owner-operators with hazmat endorsement will receive an additional 2-cent increase, making the total 95 cents per mile. On July 31, company driver pay will increase 1 cent per mile, the carrier said.
