The FTC alleges that FleetCor falsely told customers they would save money by using their fuel cards, be protected from unauthorized charges, and have no set-up, transaction or membership fees. G&P Truckingâs broker and motor carrier arms both are now part of NFI through acquisition.

Port truckers land nearly $6M in classification claims
The California Labor Commissioner recently awarded nearly $6 million to 24 drivers who sued their carriers claiming they were misclassified as contractors. NFI did not own the two companies at the time the misclassification claims took place.

Truck operator fired for refusing to drive amid HOS concerns could get $275k from carrier
NFI fired the driver in 2012, a day after he refused to deliver a load to its original destination. OSHA says severe weather, flooded roads, traffic and crashes caused the trip to take much longer than anticipated. Per OSHA, the driver âbelieved he lacked sufficient time to complete the deliver and return home without violatingâ hours regs.
