Rebates available on anti-idling equipment in STEP program

An ongoing electrification project still has funds to give rebates on anti-idling equipment for owner-operators of on medium- and heavy-duty trucks and fleets, executives with Shorepower Technologies and Eugene, Ore.-based nonprofit Cascade Sierra Solutions said of the so-called STEP program. NATSO remembers Chuck Bosselman

The national truckstop organization, NATSO, honored the late Chuck Bosselman with the Hall of Fame award at its annual convention in Las Vegas. A 90-day, 25,000-mile warranty is now available on 2005 or newer Class 8 and medium-duty trucks, Kansas City, Mo.-based Arrow Truck Sales announced. The warranty program, ConfidencePlus, offers coverage on the truck’s engine, transmission, rear ends, injectors and fuel pump. On 2008 model year and newer trucks, turbochargers, radiators and ECM modules are covered also.
