Internet Truckstop, a freight matching service, is adding Carrier Registration Service to its website, the company says. The new feature is expected to reduce registration time to about 10 minutes and minimize the need to fax or scan and email the registration forms. Utility releases side skirt

A new advanced aerodynamic side skirt, the USS-120A, is now available from Utility Trailer Manufacturing Co. The skirt is U.S. EPA SmartWay certified, and its usage can lead to at least 5 percent fuel savings. Galvanized high tensile steel braces allow the skirt to move both inward and outward. Thomasville, N.C.-based Old Dominion Freight Line is expanding its regional Indianapolis hub from 223 doors to 325. The carrier plans to expand the existing facility at 3915 W. Morris St. by 84,000 square feet and hire 183 new employees by 2014.

Gordon Trucking Inc.  purchased Edwardsville, Ill.-based Buske Lines Inc. The acquisition includes Buske's 150 power units and 375 refrigerated and dry-van trailers. A 35,000-square-foot shop in Pontoon Beach, Ill., also part of the purchase, will serve as a maintenance, truck driver and operations center for Gordon, based in Seattle.
