California Pilot adds Shorepower

Pilot Flying J, in collaboration with federally funded Shorepower Truck Electrification Project, has added electrical connections to 36 parking spaces at the Pilot Travel Center at Exit 745 off I-5 in Weed, California. Stop opens in St. George, S.C.

A Pilot Flying J travel plaza has opened in St. George, S.C., at Exit 77 off Interstate 95 on U.S. Highway 78, says a spokeswoman for the travel center franchise. Pilot Flying J announced Feb. 23 it will acquire Western Petroleum LLC, a Utah-based company that supplies about 200 million gallons of fuel and lubricants annually to the oil and gas drilling and hydraulic fracturing industries. Western Petroleum delivers to drilling operations in Rocky Mountain, Plains and southern states. Android trucking app launches

The Android version of Pilot Flying J’s MyPilot app is now available for smartphones and tablets, the travel center company said. Features include one-touch calling, a search function to find locations with specified amenities and services such as diesel exhaust fluid availability, and fuel price checks and comparisons.
