Transflo Express scanning is now available at three Pilot Flying J truck stops along Interstate 95 between Maryland and South Carolina, service provider Pegasus TransTech announced. All named Patriot Farms Flying J, the stops are at exit 109A in Elkton, Md.; exit 104 in Ruther Glen, Va.; and exit 169 in Florence, S.C.

Pilot Flying J to increase DEF network

Pilot Flying J travel centers are expanding their number of Diesel Exhaust Fluid pump stations. The travel stops now offer 600 fuel lanes at 135 locations, and by May 1, 2012, expect to have 1800 fuel lanes operating at 300 sites. The fuel lanes allow drivers to swipe their card once and pay one transaction for both fuel and DEF, which are on one pump. Visit Pilot Flying J’s website to find pump locations.

Pilot Flying J to upgrade showers, host contest

Pilot Flying J showers are being renovated and truckers can vote on the best shower at its interstate facilities this summer, the travel center announced.   For the next two years the truck stop’s 4,000 showers will be upgraded with new shower tiles, fixtures, lighting and hotel quality shower heads.
