Tanker starting pay increased

Drivers in Prime Inc.'s tanker division are now eligible to earn 41 cents per mile for starting pay, the Springfield, Mo.-based fleet announced. Prime honors 3-million-mile drivers

Prime Inc. truckers Herman Knight and Steve Rowan have won safety awards for driving 3 million miles safely. The honor requires a driving record free of preventable accidents or incidents, the Springfield, Mo.-based carrier said in a written statement.
