New aid for sleep apnea?

Sleep researchers are testing a new approach to controlling sleep apnea. It involves an implant that would keep the tongue from relaxing so much that it blocks air passages. Inspire Medical Systems plans to test 100 apnea patients by late January to see how well the implant really works.
