About the Author
William A. White got his start in the trucking industry at 12 years of age in a 1966 Ford C850 gas burner that his dad drove, pulling moving vans for Bekins. He began writing almost as early. Today Bill drives a 2001 Freightliner for TSI Kansas, out of Clay Center, Kan., hauling dry van and reefer loads throughout the Midwest and the western United States. He makes his home in Herrick, S.D., with his two children, Samantha and Will, and his wife Barb.
