Cummins rolls out 1.5 millionth Jamestown plant engine

Cummins Inc. recently celebrated the production of the 1.5 millionth engine at its Jamestown Engine Plant in Jamestown, N.Y. The JEP, established in 1974, is one of the top five heavy-duty diesel engine producers worldwide and has exceeded 100,000 engines annually in recent years. JEP also remains one of the company's largest manufacturing facilities, as it accounted for 12 percent of Cummins’ total engine production in 2012.
