Love’s Travel Stops now offers DEF at the pump at all 245 of its travel stops across the country, making it the first retailer to do so, it says. Love’s began installing DEF at the pump on diesel islands in 2011 and completed its rollout to all travel stops this month.

Love’s opens new Texas location

Love’s Travel Stops announced this week it opened a new stop in Deer Park, Texas, at Highway 225 and Independence Parkway. The location features 70 truck parking spaces, McDonald’s and Chester’s Chicken restaurants, and a tire care center open 24/7. Bulk DEF will be available at the pump on all diesel lanes, along with RFID cardless fueling technology. Drivers will receive double “My Love Rewards” loyalty points at the new location through July 31.

Pilot opens new Texas stop

Pilot Flying J recently expanded to a location in Canton, Texas, off Interstate 20 at exit 553. The travel center offers five diesel lanes with DEF at the pump and eight gasoline lanes, Hot Skillet Country Restaurant, Long John Silver’s, A&W and a driver lounge currently undergoing a renovation. The new facility is the 42nd in Texas and 662nd Pilot Flying J in North America.

The Iowa 80 Truckstop in Walcott, Iowa, has been nominated by the Quad Cities Convention and Visitor’s Bureau as the 8th Wonder of the World in Virtual Tourist’s current online contest. Voting is open until September 30.
