Sleep provider to partner with truckers clinic

Sleep HealthCenters is partnering with Roadside Medical Clinics to provide sleep medicine services as part of Roadside Medical’s driver wellness programs. The Brighton, Mass.-based sleep provider will educate truckers, diagnose and support treatment of sleep disorders in Roadside’s overall driver wellness program, said Sleep HealthCenters' Robin Gordon. Prime Inc. truckers Herman Knight and Steve Rowan have won safety awards for driving 3 million miles safely. The honor requires a driving record free of preventable accidents or incidents, the Springfield, Mo.-based carrier said in a written statement. A new dealership with Mack Trucks and Volvo Trucks North America franchises has opened in North Las Vegas, Nev., TEC Equipment Inc., announced. The dealership, at 4380 Donovan Way, includes an 8,000-square foot facility with a showroom, warehouse, offices and three pull-through service bays. Medium-duty truck owners are more satisfied with their purchase if trucks are ready when promised, J. D. Power and Associates said of recent survey results.
