Averitt donates to children’s hospital

Associates of Averitt Express donated $350,000 to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, marking the 17th annual donation. The gift was collected from Averitt associates during 2009. Averitt has donated more than $5 million to charities, including St. Jude, since 1986, when an outreach for children's health was created.
