PrePass adds two Miss. weigh stations

PrePass announced this week it has added two new Mississippi weigh stations to its station bypass list.  The stations are located on Interstate 55 about 20 miles south of Memphis, and the service is now available at both the southbound and northbound weigh stations.  PrePass is at 306 stations and inspection facilities nationwide. Mack opening new Texas dealership

Mack Trucks this week announced it will open a new dealership in August in Cotulla, Texas. The 40,000-sq.-ft. Valley Truck Center facility will be located at 206 W FM 468, off Exit 67 on Interstate 35, mid-way between San Antonio and Laredo. The new facility will also have the largest Mack Trucks sign in the world, the company says. Love’s adds CNG fueling at two locations

Love’s Travel Stops announced this week it is adding fast-fill compressed natural gas fueling capabilities at two of its existing Oklahoma stops: one in Ardmore and one in Webbers Falls. Upon completion, Love’s says it will have 16 CNG filling stations for heavy-duty trucks. The Ardmore location will be the second Love’s with fast-fill CNG for heavy-duty trucks on I-35. Maverick builds multi-million driver training facility

Maverick Transportation last week, unveiled a new 13,000-sq.-ft. driver training facility that has multiple classrooms and five training bays.  The North Little Rock, Ark.-based company invested $4 million into the facility, which is capable of housing 210 driver students at once.  Maverick says 75 percent of the people that apply for driving positions at the company have no prior experience.
