Love’s now offering freight factoring; low rates, free remote processing

Love's has introduced Love's Financial, which will offer factoring services for drivers. B-T Inc. named Eric Dillard the company's Driver of the Month for May. Dillard was nominated by his fleet manager, Chris Krogman. Mack puts $26M into truck plant

Mack Trucks announced this week a $26 million upgrade project to its truck assembly plant in Macungie, Pa., that will "improve the plant's efficiency and help it deliver even higher quality trucks" to buyers, the truck and engine maker said.  The investment includes a realignment of sub-assembly and material handling to more efficiently support the main vehicle assembly lines.  The plant will also implement new processes and install new equipment to improve its post-production inspection and ...

Barr-Nunn upping team pay

Barr-Nunn Transportation announced this week it is raising its pay for team drivers to a base rate of 55 cents a mile (empty or loaded) and 59 cents a mile for hazmat loads (placarded or not).  After a year at Barr-Nunn, team drivers can get 56 cents a mile.  The carrier is also offering new teams $1,250 for each driver on their first pay checks and an incremental 5-cent a mile split for the first 120 days.

C.R. England opens new terminal, adds LNG trucks

C.R.
