Tolls could drop on NYC bridge

Truckers may soon qualify for a 20 percent toll discount on a New York City bridge if they make more than 10 crossings that month using E-Z Pass.  On Feb. 6, Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced reaching agreement with legislative leaders to fund toll relief for qualified drivers using the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge, linking Brooklyn and Staten Island. Celadon opens new driver training center

Celadon and its Quality Drivers  subsidiary have announced the opening of the new driver training center near its Indianapolis headquarters.  The $7 million, 61,000 square-foot training facility includes dorm rooms, cafeteria, workout room, basketball court and a driver training road course. Sharon Cunningham has been named Trucker Buddy International’s Outstanding Teacher following her nomination by her husband, Michael Cunningham, a driver for Walmart Transportation in Sanger, Texas.
