Wabash rolls out 100,000th AeroSkirt

Wabash Composites, a division of Wabash National Corporation, has produced its 100,000th DuraPlate AeroSkirt. Wabash National developed the DuraPlate AeroSkirt in 2009 to address customers’ needs for improved fuel economy. CRST Malone giving $4k owner-operator sign-on bonus

CRST Malone Inc., a subsidiary of CRST International Inc., announced plans to quadruple sign-on bonuses for their owner-operator flatbed division. Previously capped at $1,000, the new incentive package boasts a bonus of $4,000 to be allotted over the course of a year. Its initiative mirrors similar efforts by CRST Expedited, Inc., including the recent announcement of the largest pay increase in its 58-year history.

Mack Trucks’ Macungie Cab & Vehicle Assembly facility has hired an Environmental Defense Fund (EDF) Climate Corps fellow for the third consecutive year to look for ways to save energy and develop an energy efficiency plan for the Macungie, Pa., facility.
