Mack displays pink truck

Mack Trucks is doing its part to help increase awareness of breast cancer by displaying this pink Mack Pinnacle Axle Back model at its headquarters in Greensboro, N.C.  The truck display is in conjunction with several employee events also highlighting the month, including a luncheon for support and caregivers affected by breast cancer; an awareness fair of vendors with information about prevention, early detection and caregiver support; and a 5K celebration run.

Fitzgerald has increased its production of gilder kits to about 40 to 55 completed units per week to handle larger quantity orders.  With its new facility in Albany, Ky., Fitzgerald has increased its production capabilities, it said this week. Inland opens service shop in Tulsa area

Inland expanded its presence in the Tulsa area, opening a second location in addition to its 5454 South 108th East Avenue shop. The new location, formerly Midwest Diesel, is located at 300 North Hickory Avenue in Broken Arrow. The new service shop shares the schedule of the parts store. It’s open weekdays from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Love’s Travel Stops opened a new location in Eagleville, Mo., at 21022 State Hwy N. (I-35 at exit 106). Pilot Flying J has opened a new Flying J stop in Mt. Vernon, Ill. The new location is at 101 S 45 St. There are 200 parking spaces, eight showers, laundry facilities and a certified scale. Mack to assemble heavy-duty drive axles at Hagerstown

As part of a $30 million investment in its Hagerstown, Md. plant, Mack Trucks will begin assembling all Mack heavy-duty drive axles and machining all Mack carrier housings at the plant, the company said today. The 5th Annual Park City Chill, Kansas' largest indoor motorcycle/car/custom semi-truck show, will take place Feb. 28-March 2, 2014. The event will be located at the Kansas Pavilions in Park City.
