Transflo ELD available at Love’s

Pegasus TransTech announced at the Truckload Carriers Association Annual Convention that it has begun distributing its next-generation Transflo Telematics systems through all Love’s Travel Stop locations.

The new offering includes the Transflo ELD T7 engine-connection device, an installation harness, and multilingual reference guides in consumer electronics packaging. The retail product also includes reporting insights and a new Transflo HOS mobile application through which independent drivers and small fleet owners register the device and manage logs. With underlying technology that has already been deployed by thousands of fleet drivers, developed in partnership with the Geotab telematics provider, the solution installs in minutes and is easy to use, the company says.

Love’s Travel Stops signed an agreement to promote and sell the Transflo ELD T7 device throughout its nationwide locations, adding telematics to its list of electronics offerings. Love’s is also incorporating a special ELD offer to Gold, Platinum and Diamond My Love Rewards members, providing reimbursement for device and monthly service costs through June 2018 via My Love Rewards points. Otherwise, as listed on Overdrive‘s quick-comparison ELD chart surveying the market, the device is expected to retail for $99 with ongoing monthly service fees of $25-$31, depending on the plan selected.

“We’re helping our most loyal professional drivers prepare for the new hours of service regulation,” shared Dave Frankenfield, Love’s marketing vice president. “Love’s is making the transition to electronic logging as easy and affordable as we can. We want to encourage drivers to evaluate and learn how to benefit from this new technology today to be prepared for the mandate in December.”

The new retail product, intended to target owner-operators and small fleet customers, adds to Pegasus TransTech’s enterprise telematics solution, which continues to be adopted and deployed by major fleets since its introduction just five months ago. Enterprise fleet drivers will continue to access ELD features in conjunction with the load management, document capture, and dispatch chat features of Transflo Mobile, the industry’s leading workday management solution.
