Nearby in Wyoming, the Cowboy Cafe in Lyman is hosting a free turkey dinner Nov. 22 for truckers that includes turkey, stuffing, potatoes, vegetables, soup or salad, dinner roll and homemade pumpkin pie. Truckers must present their CDL to redeem the free meal.

The Cowboy cafe is located at Exit 41 in Lyman. The GPS address is as follows: 2797 County Road 231, Lyman, Wyoming, 82937.

“Some of them can’t make it home to their families because they’re out on the road. A lot of people would like to be home with their families celebrating that day,” Jesse Porter, a manager at Cowboy Cafe, said. “We’re kind of a family to most truckers here. We’ve built a relationship with a lot of them. I’m just trying to up it a little and show them we appreciate what they do and here’s a for-free dinner for them.”
