Truckers News has earned two editorial awards from the American Society of Business Publication Editors.
The magazine won a bronze award in the News Section category for its June 2002 coverage in ASBPE’s Midwest Region competition. This was the second time in the past three years that Truckers News has received an ASBPE honor for its news section. It garnered a gold award in 2000.
The magazine also received a bronze award in the Technical Article category for a story on tire wear and maintenance. The article, “Read Any Good Tires Lately?” was written by Equipment Editor John Baxter. This was the second time in the past three years that Truckers News has won an ASBPE award for technical features.
Last year, the magazine received ASBPE awards for redesign and special section.
ASBPE is a professional association for full-time and freelance editors and writers employed in the business, trade and specialty press.
