Diagnostic trailer tester

Maintenance & Performance | Tools | April 04, 2013

IPA-Super-Mutt-Deluxe-Trailer-TesterIPA’s Super Mutt Deluxe trailer tester is designed to improve inspection accuracy by guiding a technician through 91 points of inspection and placing a load on the trailer’s electrical circuits to identify wiring problems.

The diagnostic program is designed to identify shorted, crossed and open circuits, differentiate between poor wire and chassis grounds, and provide amperage display.

A technician can use a wireless remote to apply brakes from the trailer’s rear while performing visual and mechanical inspections in real time, with the ability to download ABS codes from most systems.
