Goodyear’s Fuel Max RSA Regional Tire uses the company’s Fuel Max Technology that incorporates cool-running compounds to help lower tire rolling resistance and improve fuel efficiency. A tri-layer compound is designed to enhance mileage, rolling resistance and curb impact resistance, while a nonevolving tread helps maintain traction. Super-tensile steel belts are engineered to add stability and enhance toughness, while the company’s Unisteel casing construction helps facilitate added retreadability. To add more miles to removal, a computer-optimized tread design and footprint is combined with the company’s IntelliMax Rib Technology, which also provides a stiffer tread area and helps provide lower rolling resistance and even wear. The tire has a 20/32-inch tread depth and currently is available in size 11R22.5, Load Range G, with more sizes planned.
