SmartWay verified ultrawide-base tires

Yokohama has two new ultrawide-base tires that have been verified by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s SmartWay program.

Yokohama’s TY517 ultrawide-base drive tire is designed for added traction, long and even wear and increased durability and retreadability, and is available in size 445/50R22.5.

The company’s RY407 ultrawide-base trailer tire, available in size 445/50R22.5, features an ultra-low profile and is designed for added fuel efficiency and weight savings, as well as increased durability and retreadability.
