Trucking options would add costs

FEEDBACK — SOUNDOFF

In response to an article, “States looking for alternatives to trucking,” on our website. The story can also be found on page 12 of this issue.

You need trucks no matter what, so get over it. How many billions is this going to cost? So now you think you’re going to run these things to every business? Of course not.

But because you are going to need trucks to do the actual delivering you are just adding another expense to freight. All you’re doing is taking money from one place and putting it in another, like railroads.

A marine highway. That is so funny I don’t know where to start. Who comes up with this stuff, union leaders? If you want to bankrupt, California, go for it.
