Bandit Big Rig Series revives action-packed truck racing

I had the chance recently to visit a Minimizer Bandit Big Rig Series race in Montgomery, Ala. Admittedly, I’m not a race enthusiast and have only attended a few races in my lifetime. I can say, however, that the Bandit series crams the best of racing — friendly competition, pre-race festivities and thundering racers roaring around short oval trucks — into each event.

What’s more, the races are held at night, giving attendees a chance to see thrilling big rig racing under the lights of the speedways where the races are held.
