Rush, Mobil Delvac saluting truckers at this weekend’s NASCAR race

Updated Apr 8, 2015

Rush Truck Centers and ExxonMobil will be saluting truckers leading up to this weekend’s Duck Commander 500 at the Texas Motor Speedway. Tony Stewart’s No. 14 Chevrolet SS will feature a special truck-focused paint scheme. Mobil Delvac 1 synthetic heavy-duty diesel engine oil will adorn the bravo spot. Ken Gober, truck driver for the No. 14 team, will also be featured in a new episode of Mobil Delvac’s documentary video series called “Behind the Wheel”.

Fans and truck drivers also have the opportunity to participate in the celebration.  The video above, called “Hauler Holler”, features both Gober and Stewart, and gives thanks to truckers across the U.S. Fans are also encouraged to use the #HaulerHoller hashtag on social media to join in by posting an image of their truck.

“I don’t think people realize how critical truck drivers are to our everyday lives,” Stewart said.  â€śWithout them, America’s economy would come to a standstill. Without Gober, I wouldn’t have a car to drive this weekend.  So, it feels good to shine the spotlight on them and the great driving they do.”
