White River Transportation, an agent of Time Dispatch Services Inc., has announced a number of new initiatives.

To boost driver recruitment, the Burr Ridge, Ill.-based company is offering a $5,000 down payment as a short-term loan to top students at designated truck driving schools to help with a truck purchase.

To aid in its rebranding as White River is the launch of a new website at www.whiterivertransportation.com and a social media presence to include a Facebook page, Twitter profile and LinkedIn company page.

As it has done for several years, White River continues its signing package to new drivers who complete 90 days on the job, as well as a $500 referral bonus to those who refer new drivers.
