Wind gusts topple trucks in South Dakota

It’s a bit calmer today in South Dakota, where wind gusting yielded terrible results for some drivers near Wall, S.D. The picture below was sent in by a reader.

Drivers on the I-90 corridor in Montana: be advised that the National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory for tomorrow, Saturday, October 20, running from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., which it says “will cause difficult driving conditions for high profile vehicles.”

    wow, none of these truckers knew better than to be out with empty dry vans on a day when the wind was blowing 80 mph. Apparently dispatch, back in Bugtussle, wasn’t keeping up with the latest forecasts… I suppose they just didn’t care…

    Whoa! Terrible! I guess if it is not really important, don’t drive on this highway. It would also be a good idea to watch and read news regarding the weather conditions before travelling.
