The Xtra Lease Nashville trailer dealership will celebrate a grand opening from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 27 at the company’s site, which has been newly relocated following devastation from floods in early May. Now in LaVergne, near Nashville, the dealership will commemorate the opening with talks on CSA 2010 regulations and U.S. Department of Transportation audits, as well as a demonstration of a DOT safety inspection.
Like many other businesses, the over-the-road trailer rental and lease dealership dealt with loss as the Cumberland River rose 32 feet nearly six months ago. The new site opened recently, said Ron Kemm, of Xtra Lease.
Rick Gobbell, former U.S. Department of Transportation inspector and currently a safety consultant, and an officer with the Tennessee Highway Patrol are featured speakers. Company officials will lead fleet-related demonstrations.
The dealership is at 1505 Corporate Place, La Vergne, Tenn., 37086.
