25th anniversary Truckers’ Choice finalist: Austin Ashley’s 2007 Peterbilt 379

Competitor: “Double Take” — 2007 Peterbilt 379

Owner: Austin Ashley

Details: Mississippi-based bulk hauler Austin Ashley and his 2007 Peterbilt 379 won their first Pride & Polish event at 2013’s Great American Trucking Show, picking up Best of Show in the Working Bobtail category. They haven’t slowed down since: Ashley picked up three more Best of Shows since at Pride & Polish competitions across the country and was named first runner-up at the 2014 Shell Rotella SuperRigs show. Ashley also won a Pride & Polish National Championship in the Working Combo category in 2014, along with back-to-back Pride & Polish Truckers’ Choice championships in 2013 and 2014. This year, though the Pete qualified to compete in the August-held National Championship
