Arizona to repave I-40 section

The Arizona Department of Transportation will repave seven miles of Interstate 40 east of Flagstaff from mile post 218 to 225 beginning Monday, Sept. 26.

Work is scheduled from sunrise to sunset Monday through Friday. The $6 million project is scheduled for completion by mid-November.

There will be single lane closures in each direction and the speed limit will be reduced in the work zone.
