Continental has enjoyed the reception of its wide single trailer tire, the HTL1, which was introduced early this year, says Dr. Hans-Joachim Nikolin, a member of the Continental Executive Board. The company hopes to introduce a wide single tractor tire by the end of 2010, said Clif Armstrong, marketing director for Continental Commercial Vehicle Tires in the Americas. Rand McNally unveiled a new navigation system today, Aug. 20, that is designed for truck drivers.
