The Minimizer Bandit Big Rig Series heads to Montgomery, Ala., this weekend for the series’ third race of the inaugural season.

The race will be held at Montgomery Motor Speedway on Saturday, May 13. The heat races for the Bandit Series will begin at 6:30 p.m. Central with the feature race scheduled for later in the evening.

The first two races of the season drew sellout crowds to Hickory Motor Speedway in Newton, N.C., and Greenville-Pickens Speedway in Easley, S.C.

Robbie Decker picked up the win in the first race of the season at Hickory, and Ricky “Rude” Proffitt bounced back from an eighth-place finish in the first race to win the second race of the season at Greenville-Pickens. Each race awards $50,000 in prize money with $10,000 going to the winner of the feature race.

Tickets for the race are $15 for adults, $5 for children ages 6-12 and free for children 5 and under. For those that can’t make it out to see the race in person, each race is livestreamed on the series’ website.
