Based on calendar-year 2015 nationwide inspection data mined by RigDig Business Intelligence and Overdrive from the federal repository for such data, as reported yesterday, the state of Mississippi continues to lead the way in the clean inspections category. Nearly 7 in 10 inspections conducted within its borders in 2015 showed no associated violations. In the map above, find the top 10 such states in the nation, likewise listed below.
New to the list this year were Illinois and Utah, replacing North Carolina and North Dakota. And conversely, the following list and map show the places where truckers are least likely to receive a clean inspection, including several whose enforcement departments were profiled in recent years in the pages of Overdrive.
