Comdata recently launched a mobile app to help truckers more easily receive pay advances and settlements, pay lumpers and more.
The Comchek Mobile app gives users the ability to send, receive and access funds on their Comdata cards. The company says the app builds on its Comchek Express Checks paper-based money transfer system.
“We’ve seen rapid growth in electronic and peer-to-peer transactions throughout the global economy, as well as within the trucking industry itself,” says Greg Secord, resident of North American trucking at Comdata. “Comchek Mobile brings this modern functionality to our customers, giving them an easier way to send and use the funds they need, when they need them.”
Shippers, brokers and third-party logistics firms can set up and send payments to carriers and drivers by entering the drivers’ unique Comchek Mobile user IDs. More information on the app can be found here.
