I can’t stress enough that Overdrive‘s Reader Rigs gallery is what you will make of it — in addition to all those great truck pictures, feel free to share scenes from your travels and more — anything, really, you’d like your fellow haulers to see.
Reason I bring it up: Reader Richard King this week posted what might be the first bit of poetry to grace the gallery’s halls, attendant to the following photo:
Looking left, looking right
And not a road in sight
Just trucking ahead
Doing what they said
Could not be done
And we don’t stop till the job is done.
We don’t do it for the benefits or the pay
It’s in our blood, the American way.
God bless the trucking way.
