Crete Carrier Corp. has been recognized for 2012 as one of the nation’s top employers for civilians with military experience by civilianjobs.com.
The carrier plans to provide jobs for more than 500 former military personnel in 2012, says Crete Carrier spokesman Jeff Dady. Its military program includes compensation, trainer-learning opportunities, no team driving, home time for weekend drill, extended benefits during deployment and annual training for Guard and Reserve members.
The 2012 Most Valuable Employers for military was open to all United States-based companies, and named two trucking companies this year. The website, civilianjobs.com, serves to help military find jobs in the United States.
