Crete opens Indianapolis terminal

National carrier Crete Carrier Corp. will open its new Indianapolis, Ind., terminal Jan. 28, the fleet announced. The terminal is built on six acres of fenced land, and the 30,000-square-ft. building has a shop with 10 bays, a tractor/trailer shop and an office. There is also hard surface, lighted parking available. Crete plans on renovating the building’s interior to add a driver training room, restrooms, showers, laundry room, lunch room and bunk rooms. The carrier also plans to resurface the terminal’s parking area. All work done on the facility is scheduled to be completed by the end of the summer, Crete says.

The terminal is located on the west side of Indianapolis, next to Interstate 465 and Same Jones Expressway. Access is available from the Sam Jones Expressway west to Executive Drive or Lynhurst Drive, and its physical address is 5730 Fortune Circle West Drive, Indianapolis, Ind.
