Daily health tip: Make short-term goals

Telling yourself you are going to lose 30 pounds this year isn’t going to cut it. While this may be your ultimate goal, it may often discourage you because it seems so far out of reach. Instead, choose daily or weekly goals that contribute to your ultimate goal. Once you start checking off those goals as reached, you will feel more confident about achieving your ultimate goal as the 30-pound marker gets closer and closer.
