Daimler trucks meet greenhouse gas regs

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has certified Daimler Trucks North America’s complete portfolio of model year 2013 on-highway, vocational and medium-duty vehicles as fully compliant with the new greenhouse gas 2014 regulations. DTNA’s compliance came a year ahead of the mandate for certification by the EPA and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

After the truck was retired about three years ago, owner Joel Anker had it rebuilt into a show truck. The hard work paid off, with a fifth-place finish in the Limited Mileage -- Bobtail with Miles class at MATS in March.
