Safety-Kleen Systems announced that Detroit Diesel has approved its EcoPower Heavy-Duty Diesel 10W-30 CJ-4/SM for use in Detroit Diesel engines. To make EcoPower, Safety-Kleen collects used oil and rerefines it and cleans it, and the finished product, Safety-Kleen says, is cleaner than the original. It’s put through a closed-loop refining process to removed contaminants like fuel, water, sulfur and dirt.
